  • IS 1417, confirms the fineness and marking to keep the gold and gold alloys as beautifully as they were crafted by the goldsmith.
  • IS 15820, requires competence in Operation of Assaying & Hallmarking Centers.
  • IS 2790, comprises the guidelines for manufacture of 23, 22,21,18,14 and 9 Carat gold Alloys.
  • IS 3095, is applied on sold soldering during manufacture of Jewellery.

Hallmarking

Hallmarks are used to guarantee the purity or fineness of gold and silver articles. With us, you would be getting precise hallmarking with quality assessment. Hallmarking on gold and silver jewel is the best of our services to our customers from years. As you know gold and silver ornaments are too soft to withstand any marking, wear and tear even for purity marking.

So, we prefer laser marking for hallmarking to prevent decorations from any kind of damage or unwanted marks. Hallmarking can be done with punches, X-ray fluorescence technique, cupellation and many other ways. But the prevalent is laser marking. We hallmark on all gold and silver articles to define its purity.

Why we use laser marking technique?

  • Laser marking includes engraving process, but it does not cause any deformation or bruising on the metal.
  • Small articles like rings or earrings can also be engraved
  • With laser marking, we can mark both twisted and flat surfaces.
  • Instead of any physical contact with the item, laser marking can be done with an exact fiber laser engraving machine which requires no contact.
  • Old punching methods may damage or distort your articles, no such issue with laser method.

  • For long-lasting mark, you can go with deep laser marking which also retains polish for long.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is a Technology, that uses a laser to vaporize materials, resulting in a cut edge. While typically used for industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics.

It leaving an edge with a high quality surface finish. In our firm, we laser cut Gold and Sliver sheet metal of maximum thickness 28 Gauge based on SWG(Standard Wire Gauge is a unit for denoting wire size given by BS 3737:1964).

Laser Marking

Laser marking is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. Laser marking in other hand, is a broader category of methods to leave mark on an object. Its an advantage over alternative engraving or marking technologies where links or bit heads have to be replaced regularly.
